I am on top of the wall and you could walk comptely around the city up here.
There were many stops along the wall walkway like this small church.
As you can see the city has grown far outside the containment of the walls.

The markings on the sidewalks made it quite clear if you were in the correct neighborhoods or not during the troubles.
