Here is where I first met Andre, ZS6WPX, at the Johannesburg International Airport.
I was invited to stay at the home of Andrew, ZS6WPX. He and his family reside in a small village called Waterval Boven (the v's are pronounced like f's). It is in the North Eastern region of the country and about 3-1/2 hours from Johannesburg by car.
Andre's home served as an excellent base point of operations as from there we made one trip into Kruger National Park and two different trips into Swaziland (see section on 3DA0).

That is little Magda (Andre's daughter) at the end of the driveway. The tower in the back we just finished erecting.
