I will be heading to Mellish Reef on October 25. It’s a 4 day sail from the NE coast of Australia beyond their Great Barrier Reefs. Since it is practically on the Equator I am looking forward to warm sandy beaches! This trip will include a great group of fellow hams as well.
A group of top notch operators are going to be on San Andrés Island for some contesting in February and March. The plan is to operate
The ARRL DX CW Contest starting on 18 February, The CQ 160-Meter SSB Contest the weekend after that and The ARRL DX SSB the weekend after that.
I only plan to be there for the final weekend and the SSB event.
My wife and I are staying at a place called Secret Bay on Dominica. It is on the Northwest coast which should be a good shot into the United States.During the contest I’ll operate SOAB using the callsign J79E.
