Getting a License for Samoa
First thing, we drive to the Office of the Regulator.
Then we get to meet this fine gentleman who issues the licenses. We pay the fees and we’re in business.
Office of the Regulator, Apia, Samoa Amateur Radio License.
Payment Receipt. One Samoan Tala is approximately 38 cents in US Dollars. So the license cost about $51.

I made an overnight trip into Samoa from American Samoa. This was my second DXCC Entity for this tour.
How do you leave Samoa at noon on Saturday, take a 35 minute flight and arrive in American Samoa on Friday? Can you say International Date Line?
I’m heading back American Samoa to enjoy my second Friday this week.
