Derry Map. Derry is also known as “The Walled City”.
Walkway. I am on top of the wall and you could walk completely around the city up here.
Small Church. There were many stops along the wall walkway like this small church.
Looking north. As you can see the city has grown far outside the containment of the walls.
Cannons. A little firepower never hurt anybody.
Painted curbs.The markings on the sidewalks made it quite clear if you were in the correct neighborhoods or not during the troubles.
A Pound store. Because it’s hard to say $1.67 store we will call it a pound store instead.

Last full day in Ireland Working stations from MI/WJ2O/M.
Windmills. I can’t seem to drive past a windmill without stopping and taking a photo.
Windmills and Farmland. I love the contract between old and new technologies.
Burnout. This is what happens when you run at the 200 watt rated limit using the high duty cycle that CW contesting gives. I sent it back to the factory and they made it as good as new for no charge . . . with a new 150 watt max. rating.
